Maybe some of the things Trump has said have been misconstrued. Maybe he wasn't calling for 2nd Amendment people to shoot Hillary Clinton. Maybe he means that anthropogenic climate change is a hoax. Maybe he's not sexually attracted to his daughter, Ivanka. Maybe he didn't intend to imply that Megan Kelly was on her period. Maybe some of the crazy shit he's said has been sarcasm, or taken out of context. But that in itself highlights a glaring problem for Trump: an inability to effectively communicate his viewpoints without causing confusion or misunderstanding. A president absolutely must be thoughtful, discerning, diplomatic, articulate, and cautious when choosing his/her words. Trump possesses none of those skills or characteristics.

Elect him at our peril.
