Pogo

Yes, she's utterly adorable. Pogo (often Pogi) is a Sheltie-Poo (Shetland Sheepdog/Poodle mix). We found her at a local pet store, her tiny snout stuck inside of a ball thoroughly mangled by razor-sharp puppy teeth. Every time we went back to check on her, she was being bullied by her cagemates and we couldn't help but feel sorry for her. She's sweet as can be, and loves to roll in her mommy's hair and shoes after a run (gross). Even when she makes her "fierce face," she's about as threatening as her favorite stuffed dragon.

We debated for some time about what to name her, and it wasn't until we took her for her first walk that it became obvious. She struggled against her leash and bounced and bounced trying to get back home. She also has a quite impressive vertical leap--especially when she has "reeky breath" and needs a G-R-E-E-N-I-E®. I would not recommend saying either of those things while she is on your lap if it's been a while since she's had her nails clipped.

Pogo is notoriously camera-shy, very likely a consequence of us trying to take pictures of her constantly. I have little doubt that she will be the star of the page. Check back often for new pictures. God knows we take enough!
